Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Bellwether ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Bellwether is an AI-powered assistant that helps church staff query and manage their ministry data by connecting to third-party church management systems and other ministry tools.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized by your organization to use the Service. By using Bellwether, you represent that you have the authority to bind your organization to these terms.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other organizations' data
Interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Use the Service to store or transmit malicious code

Data Ownership

Your organization retains ownership of all data processed through the Service. Bellwether claims no ownership rights over your church data, ministry records, or chat content. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis through Stripe.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability, and will provide advance notice when possible.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bellwether shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data prior to account deletion.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
